On the 2020/12/27 (Sun) broadcast of the TOKYO FM radio program “Sugisaki Hana’s Flower TOKYO” (every Sunday from 8:00 to 8:30).
Sugisaki Hana: And speaking of little Chiyo, who was also mentioned in Kyonpiman’s email, what a surprise! I received this email! 9-year-old from Osaka Prefecture, radio name Kochiyo.
Maida Nonno: Ha-chan, this is the first time I’ve sent you a message.
I’m relieved that Ochoyan has started and I was able to safely pass the baton to Ha-chan.
I’ll continue to support you, so do your best with the filming.
Sugisaki Hana: Thank you~♪
Maida Nonno: Kochiyo has recently become addicted to playing card games with her family.
We play Daifugo, Ikkyu-san, UNO, etc.
What is your favorite card game, Ha-chan?
It’s getting cold, so stay warm.
I love Ha-chan♪ From Kochiyo
Sugisaki Hana: (laughs) It’s so cute♪
I received a message from Maita Nonno, who played the young Chiyo (laughs)
Well, the other day Nonno sent me an email.
She said, “I’m listening to your radio show.”
Hah-chan, Nonno calls me Ha-chan, she calls me Non-chan.
She sent me an email saying, “I sent a message to Ha-chan’s radio show” (laughs)
When I got that message, I quickly told the scriptwriter Hana-chan, “It seems that Nonno from Kochiyo sent you an email,” and she checked it right away.
It seems that she really sent it to the program’s email form, through the email form (laughs)
It’s so cute. I’m so happy (laughs)
I’ve never seen anything like this before, so I’m so happy♪
I see… She even gave me an update on her recent situation.
Nonno is addicted to playing card games.
I wonder what her favorite card game is~?
Oh, it’s nice to play card games with your family. You must be really close.
But Non-chan’s family is really close.
I’ve been practicing manners with Non-chan for about a year now, and every day a different mother or grandfather comes to the set.
They’re all really close.
And Non-chan has an older brother, and she tells me stories about him.
I see, so you’re into playing card games with your family.
Hmm. I like UNO too. And other card games, I guess.
I like Old Maid, maybe.
And, ah, I like Speed the most.
I’m really good at it. I’m really confident about it.
Ah, someday when the radio show starts, or rather, when we get to record in that studio, I’d like to have a little challenge with the scriptwriter Hana-chan.
Speed is really strong.
I’m quite proud of that.
Well, recently, Non-chan actually had work at NHK and she came to pop in to the recording studio where I was filming.
It’d been two months, maybe it was a little longer, I saw her again after three months, and she’d really grown into a big girl, her face was a little plumper and she’d grown taller, I was surprised!
Wow, Non-chan is 9 years old now.
She’s really turning into a girl, and it was really moving.
She’s so cute♪
I look forward to watching Non-chan continue to grow.
Thank you for your message, Non-chan.
I’m looking forward to seeing her again♪
