Sugisaki Hana: Today, we will bring you “Music Selection Sommelier Sugisaki Hana,” who chooses songs based on a theme.

We have received emails from our listeners, and the theme we chose this time is “driving.”

The person who sent us the theme is Kotrin from Tochigi Prefecture.

Here is the message.

29-year-old from Tochigi Prefecture, radio name Kotrin.

Listener email: The song I want Ohana to choose is driving.

It’s about time for the season to go out in the car.

Please recommend a song that you can listen to at such a time.

Sugisaki Hana: That’s great. I don’t drive much, but I have many opportunities to get in the car, so I chose some songs that I would like to listen to when I’m in a good mood.

So today I’m going to choose some songs with the theme of driving.

Songs to listen to on a morning drive

First up is the first song. Well, I’ve chosen three songs, but I’ll divide them into morning, afternoon, and evening, and play the songs I want to listen to on a morning drive first.
BASI’s “Ai no mama ni feat. Tsubaki”.

I’m playing BASI’s “Ai no mama ni feat. Tsubaki”.

What did you think?

I really like this song.
It has a really comfortable sound, tempo, and singing voice, and even though it’s rap, it makes me feel great even when I listen to it in the morning. I personally think that rap is really cool and strong, and that it gives off a strong energy, but I think this song is really comfortable to listen to even when you’re still sleepy in the morning, and I like it because it’s a song that makes you feel relaxed.

Songs to listen to on a daytime drive

Next, let’s move on to songs with a driving theme.
This song is one that you want to listen to in the daytime. “Come Be My Bride 2015 feat. PUNPEE”.

We’re playing “Come Be My Bride 2015 feat. PUNPEE” by PUNPEE.

This song is really good, isn’t it? The fun rhythm and melody are really uplifting, and I selected this song because I thought it would be a great song to listen to on a sunny day.

Songs to listen to on a night drive

To finish off, I’d like to play this song that I think would be great to listen to on a night drive.

NENE’s “Kaze feat. 5lack”.

It’s time for the ending of Sugisaki Hana’s Flower TOKYO.

Well, it’s been a while since I’ve been a song selection sommelier today. The theme was driving, but I decided to feature rap as another theme for myself.
It’s fresh, and I haven’t had a day where I’ve played so many rap songs, so it was refreshing. Well, when I’m in the car I play a lot of different songs, and I really change the style of music or artist depending on my mood. When I listen to rap, I often listen to it when I’m in a really happy mood, or when I’ve finished shooting a difficult scene and I feel refreshed, like “Yay!” (lol), so I chose this song because I thought driving is an exhilarating time.

What do you think?
Do you think you’d play this while driving, Kotrin? (lol)
I hope you like it.
Thank you so much for all your messages today.
