Honda Hitomi: Next up is Pakuchi-san who lives in Gifu Prefecture.

Listener email: Hii-chan, hello. This is sudden, but I have a question for you.
The other day I confessed to a girl I liked, but she rejected me.
I still think about her, and I can’t concentrate on my studies or anything else.
How do you get back on your feet when you’re feeling down or down?

Honda Hitomi: Wow… That must be a bit tough… for a girl you like.
But I really respect how brave Pakchi was to confess her feelings, and I think it was amazing. I think it was great that she took another step towards adulthood as an experience.

That’s so condescending… (laughs)

So, when I’m feeling down or depressed, I listen to music.

I listen to ballads, and listen to the lyrics, and I’m like, “Oh, I see,” and how can I put it, I get immersed in the song. Yeah. That’s right, for me.

I’ve really been thinking lately that music can really move people’s hearts and change their thoughts and feelings, so I listen to my favorite songs to clear my mind.

I also think that talking to the other members or people around you that you can rely on is one way to do it.

So, today, for Pakchi, I’d like to play a song that I like from IZ*ONE, and that I would like you to listen to now too.

DESTINY by IZ*ONE.
