This is my first time sending you an email.
You finally made your comeback with “Panorama” on December 7th. Congratulations.
I was really happy to see the beautiful and grown-up IZ*ONE.
Actually, my mother fell in love with IZONE at first sight when she saw them performing “Beware” on a Japanese music program last month, and now they have become such fine WIZONE that she tweets things like “They’re so cute!” every time she sees IZ*ONE.
And to commemorate my mother, who usually doesn’t buy albums, becoming WIZ*ONE, I pre-ordered this new album as a Christmas present for myself.
Is there anything you would like to have as a Christmas present, Saku-chan?
Miyawaki Sakura: Hmm. I wonder…
It’s simple, I feel like a world without masks… (laughs)
Seriously, I know that there’s nothing we can do about it, and I know this sounds weird to say, but I just want a world without masks.
You watch YouTube, right? And when you watch a Vlog, you think, “Huh? This person is out but not wearing a mask?” and then you look at the date it was posted and it’s from a year or two ago, and you’re like, “Oh, I see. I was able to go out without a mask then.”
Our normal is changing, isn’t it? Our daily lives now.
Wearing a mask is becoming normal, isn’t it?
I feel like my consciousness is changing too.
Ah, it’s really sad that we have to live with this coronavirus so much.
You said in the video how to cheer, right? The calling out thing, Panorama and Sequence.
We were filming that while saying to the members, “Will we really be able to hear the fans’ voices?”, to be honest.
And, of course, IZONE really, really wants to meet WIZONE.
We want to have a concert too. We want to meet in person and talk to them.
So I’m thinking how happy I would be if Santa gave me a life without masks and without COVID.
So, my plans for Christmas this year are… my schedule.
Well, I’ll be happy just to be able to spend time with the members, and I think we’d all like to order some chicken (laughs).
