Miyawaki Sakura: Wow, it’s finally here. Really.
Today was released (IZ*ONE’s first Japanese album “Twelve”), and today is my debut day as a composer and lyricist (referring to Yummy Summer, a song from Twelve), well, I’ve only been a lyricist once, but as a proper lyricist, not a Japanese translation, so I composed and wrote lyrics.

Not as an idol, but as a creator? When I say creator, it sounds like I’m on top of myself, but as a composer and lyricist, I’m excited and excited that my work will be released to the world, and of course I’m also very anxious.

Because, well, if the song I worked hard on doesn’t get a good response, that’s when I think I might be able to write the next song.
It was my best shot, and if it hadn’t been well received I’m sure I would have been pretty depressed, but I overcame that anxiety and I’m overwhelmed with emotion. I’m really happy that the fans liked it, and I’m grateful to the composers who worked with me on it, and I’m also grateful to the management who accepted this song, so I’m just filled with gratitude.

I couldn’t have completed this song by myself, so I don’t want to forget to be grateful to so many people, and I hope to continue creating more and more great songs and make everyone’s day a little brighter. I want to create more songs that will cheer you up just by listening to them, and give you that kind of strength, so I hope everyone will look forward to them.
