Today is the first airing in space.
I would like to present to you a song composed and written by me, Miyawaki Sakura, which is included in IZONE’s first Japanese album “Twelve” Type A, which will be released on October 21st! The song is sung by me, Chaewon, Minju, and Yujin. Introducing a song that I wrote and composed on my own radio show was one of my dreams that I thought would never come true, but it has finally come true! Wow, I’m so excited. Please look forward to it. Ahh…, uuh. Here we go! The first airing in space, IZONE’s “Yummy Summer”.
I played “Yummy Summer”, a song written and composed by me, Miyawaki Sakura, from IZ*ONE’s first Japanese album “Twelve” Type A, which will be released on October 21st.
Oh man, how was it, everyone?
I was so nervous. Was it okay? (laughs)
Well, when I was writing this song, I said something like, why did I want to write it?
Well, IZ*ONE doesn’t have a summer song, and if you look at the lyrics, you’ll understand, but I wrote it with the feeling that I don’t want this summer to end.
If this summer doesn’t end, time will stop forever.
So I wrote the song “Yummy Summer” with the feeling that I want this time to stop.
My favorite lyric is “Leave the calendar as it is before today becomes a memory”, which I really like. I like the melody and the chorus, and I like that part too.
I think the part “The sea breeze is Wavy Wavy, riding on those clouds Maybe” is pretty good. Yes (laughs)
It’s kind of embarrassing to introduce a song I wrote myself (laughs)
Then, well, ah, I wrote “Why did you write a summer song if you hate summer?” in the script (laughs)
I hate summer. I hate summer, but I wanted the summer I spend with IZ*ONE to last forever.
I don’t want this summer to end, and I don’t want today or this summer to become a memory.
Don’t memories feel like the past?
No, we want to live this moment forever, so we said “Leave the calendar as it is before it becomes a memory.”
So, everyone, our summer has just begun.
It’s been a bit cold lately, and it’s almost autumn, eh? Autumn is over already? Winter is coming at such a rapid speed, but our summer is just starting, WIZ*ONE.
