Sugisaki Hana: Well, I’d like to send another message.
35 years old, from Oita Prefecture, radio name Gobo-san.

Listener email: Ohana-chan, good morning.
As my radio name suggests, I love burdock, but don’t you think burdock is the most hardworking vegetable out there?
It looks long and skinny and is always covered in mud, but it’s full of nutrients and has a strong presence in cooking.
I always end up personifying vegetables like that.
I don’t think Ohana-chan does that, but if, if, if, if you were to personify your favorite green onion, how would you like to praise it?

Sugisaki Hana: Eh? . Eh! It’s difficult, what is it… Personification? Onions? …
Tsundere? Is it tsundere?
Well, it’s spicy when you eat it raw. It’s spicy even when you cut it.
But when you cook it, it becomes a little sweeter and the spiciness is reduced, so I think it has many different sides to it.
Is that okay? Tsundere (lol)
Well, it was my first attempt at personification, so it was quite difficult (lol)

But it’s great that you love burdock.
They say burdock has a lot of fiber and is good for the intestines (lol)
My favorite burdock dish is kinpira gobo.
I love my mother’s kinpira gobo (lol)
