On the 11/1/2020 (Sun) broadcast of the TOKYO FM radio program “Sugisaki Hana’s Flower TOKYO” (every Sunday from 8:00 to 8:30).
Sugisaki Hana: Today I’d like to introduce you to this message.
20-year-old from Ehime Prefecture, radio name Muscat.
Listener email: Good morning, Ohana-chan. I saw the Pasco commercial.
The world view of the commercial is very nice and it suits Hana-chan perfectly, and above all, the sight of Hana-chan eating deliciously was very cute. I think Hana-chan and food are a great match.
I usually just put butter or jam on bread, but watching the commercial made me want to try eating it in different ways.
And you said that it was filmed near Lake Biwa, so if you have any stories from the commercial, I’d like to hear them.
I’m looking forward to the morning drama.
Sugisaki Hana: Thank you.
That’s right, the commercial. The new commercial has been released.
The shoot was so much fun. It was my first time going to Shiga Prefecture, and it was so beautiful. It was forecast to rain that day, but we shot over two days, and both days were forecast to rain.
It was a beautiful sunny day (laughs). When it was time to shoot…
The scenery was so beautiful, the sky was blue, and the green of the leaves and the blue of Lake Biwa were so amazing, how can I put it?
I felt so free and it was so much fun to shoot.
Also, how should I put it, sometimes we had to go through narrow roads between fields to get to the shooting location, and it was really fun to move around in a light truck (laughs)
The Pasco commercial was fun to shoot.
The director was really careful about the characters, props, sets, and eating style, and he really took his time to shoot the commercial, so it was a really fulfilling shoot.
That bread was really delicious. There’s a scene where I make eggs that are shaped like flowers, and they’re really cute. I practiced making them, but it was really difficult. There’s a trick to it.
I made it with the help of food coordinator Nami Iijima, and this bread topped with plenty of butter, eggs and cabbage is incredibly delicious, so I would love for everyone to try it too.
