On the bayfm radio program “Tonight, Under Sakura’s Tree” (every Wednesday from 24:00 to 24:30) broadcast on August 19, 2020 (Wednesday).
IZ*ONE’s Miyawaki Sakura talked about Yuri’s recent TMI information.
Miyawaki Sakura: Radio name “Chiemi”.
Thank you.
Listener email: Good evening, Saku-chan.
Miyawaki Sakura: Good evening.
Listener email: On the 8th, I saw the movie “EYES ON ME: THE MOVIE” twice. It wasn’t released locally, so I traveled a long way to a theater that was showing it. But unfortunately, they didn’t have “Screen X,” which Saku-chan recommended, so I watched it in 4DX and 2D. I was very moved. I actually went to the Seoul concert to watch it, so it brought back memories and I cried a lot.
I’m a Yuri fan, so I’m basically following Yuri while watching (this is “Sakunoki” though…), but Saku-chan’s stage aura and her presence during choreography practice for “AYAYAYA” were so amazing that I was completely distracted. When Saku-chan got an “A” from the teachers in the first evaluation of her audition, they praised her saying “She has star quality”. I felt that in the movie.
Saku-chan on stage has more than twice the aura and shines. The difference between her and her off-stage appearance is so amazing that I think I’m captivated.
Of course, I love both of them. I love Saku-chan.
Miyawaki Sakura: Thank you.
…Umm. I was wearing no makeup. I really prayed the whole time. I kept thinking, “I hope they don’t show me much… I really hope they don’t show me much of the practice footage.” I was really nervous because I was wearing no makeup at all, but I was glad that my face looked good enough to be seen.
Recent TMI info about Yuri…TMI info…
Yuri and Nako share a room. I share a room with Chaewon, so we’re next to each other. Chaewon and I are pretty quiet types, but Yuri and Nako are really energetic. I once went to check on them thinking they were fighting. But the two of them were talking really energetically.
They seem to get along really well, and are so cute… and get along so well. It’s wonderful.
Also, when Yuri is alone. When Nako isn’t around because of a schedule or something and Yuri is alone, Yuri…is always singing. Really. Always singing. Even when we’re on the location bus, Yuri and singing are probably “inseparable”… Always singing. And Yuri is a good singer… so her songs have become the best background music for me.
So I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Yuri. Thank you for always humming those wonderful songs for me. Yuri’s songs add a little color to my life… that’s what they are.
