On the 9/6/2020 (Sun) broadcast of the TOKYO FM radio program “Sugisaki Hana’s Flower TOKYO” (every Sunday from 8:00 to 8:30).
Sugisaki Hana introduced the messages sent by listeners about the episode with Yoshizawa Ryo as a guest, and shared her own thoughts after the recording.
Sugisaki Hana: I’ve received a lot of reactions to the episode with Yoshizawa Ryo, who was a guest for two weeks last week and the week before… thank you everyone.
…Now, I’d like to introduce the messages.
21-year-old from Tokyo, radio name “Dera-chan’s Pocket Candy Rollin”.
Listener email: Ohana-chan. I really enjoyed the episode with Yoshizawa Ryo as a guest, and it was such a fun radio show that I’m sending you an email with my thoughts.
Sugisaki Hana: Thank you.
Listener email: I was so happy to hear your voices, and I laughed so hard.
The atmosphere of the laughing Hana and Yoshizawa Ryo, relaxing and enjoying a conversation, was perfect for the morning and it was the best.
Sugisaki Hana: I’m so happy.
Listener mail: This radio show made me want to watch the movie even more, and there’s a big gap between their acting in the movie “Ao-Kute-Itai-Kute-Mo-Rai” and the radio show, so I’m sure people will be surprised at the range of their acting. It was a great pleasure to be able to listen to two wonderful actors talk.
Sugisaki Hana: I’m so happy. Thank you.
Listener mail: I’d also like to thank the staff for not cutting out the song introductions on air. Thank you.
Sugisaki Hana: It’s true (laughs). I was laughing so hard it was like a broadcast accident… but I’m grateful that director Sutchan always edits out the fun parts.
Thank you. Oh man (laughs).
Well… I’m so happy that you said it was “perfect for the morning atmosphere” (laughs).
I’m glad. I’m glad to hear you say that.
But really, it was fun… the episode with Yoshizawa-san.
It’s been a while since we had a guest, and because of the self-restraint period, we’ve been recording remotely, so it’s been a really long time since we recorded a radio show “face-to-face,” so it was really refreshing.
I was really happy to meet Hana-chan, the scriptwriter, after such a long time, even though she didn’t appear as a voice…
Really. Well, but… I was actually in front of him, and I was too embarrassed to say it last week and the week before, but Yoshizawa-san is really a wonderful person. At the end of the promotion for “Ao-kute Itakute Moroi”… I felt really lonely before the release.
I mean, it was originally based on a manga that I loved, and I enjoyed filming, but more than anything, I think it was thanks to Yoshizawa-san, who was as kind as always, being there.
Promoting a movie is really hard, but this time, I felt more like it was fun than anything.
Well… I guess that’s how it is.
There were many times when I felt once again how happy I was to be able to work with Yoshizawa-san.
I hope to work hard so that we can work together again someday.
When that time comes, it’ll be great if you come as a guest again (laughs).
Thank you for your message.
