Honda Hitomi: Next, Hii-chan’s Korean lesson.
This time, I’d like to tell you a little about my catchphrase.
I’m really sensitive to the cold. As you all know.
So I say “It’s cold” and “It’s cold” a lot like a catchphrase.
I say it about 10 times a day. I say “Ah, it’s cold…”
And that in Korean.
Well, “cold” is “춥다 (chupta)”.
The original form is chupta, but in spoken language, “cold” is “추워 (chwo)”.
If you add “요 (yo)” to it, it becomes “추워요 (chuwoyo),” which means “It’s cold.”
