IZONE’s Miyawaki Sakura was talking about her and the other members’ new hairstyles and hair colors, which were revealed on the reality show “IZONE CHU ~ Fantasy Campus”.
Miyawaki Sakura: Now then. Speaking of IZONE, today and next week, the solo reality show “IZONE CHU ~ Fantasy Campus” will be broadcast simultaneously in Korea and Japan on “Mnet” for two weeks.
…So it was broadcast today. The first round. Did you all see it?
This…but it’s broadcast simultaneously in Korea and Japan, so I think the one in Japan probably won’t have “subtitles” either, right? Japanese subtitles…So if you don’t understand Korean…I think it’ll be a difficult broadcast (laughs).
At the same time as the preview of this broadcast was aired, our new “hair color” and “hairstyle” were revealed, and it was the first time that everyone was talking about it on Twitter…
I think it’s been about six months since I last had a haircut.
The reason is that I’m a really fickle person, so when I have long hair I want to have a short haircut, and when I have a short haircut I want to have a long haircut.
Well, there are quite a few people in Japan who are like that too… (laughs).
So, I thought about the concept of this album and talked with the stylist and makeup artist, and we decided to go with a short haircut this time.
And my hair color is “black blue,” which is dark… a really dark blue.
This color… it’s quite difficult to bring out this hair color. So I went to the hair salon at about 10 o’clock, and finished at about 3 o’clock. I dyed my hair for about five hours. I dyed it five or six times.
It’s really difficult to get this color. The color has faded quite a bit now…it’s almost like “green”, which I think is okay though.
I think I’ll have to dye it again black-blue just before our comeback.
Also, I really like Yuri’s “red hair”. Yuri looks good in quite unusual colors… doesn’t she?
I’ve already taken off the jacket, but there was a shot where Yuri looked really cute and I thought “I was right to go with red”. I’m a fan of Yuri’s “red”.
Another thing that was really surprising was that Kanchan hasn’t worn “bright colors” up until now.
It’s usually been “brown” or “black”, but this time it’s “purple”.
I wonder what color it is…it’s difficult, but it’s a slightly pale purple color.
It’s fresh and suits her really well, so I really like it.
This reality show “IZ*ONE CHU” is already in Season 3, but Seasons 1 and 2 were filmed during the comebacks of “La Vie en Rose” and “Violeta,” so it’s been a year already…?
What, more? What! More?!
It’s been a really long time since I’ve been on a reality show…
I really did think, “I understand Korean now.”
In Season 2, I thought, “Ah, I can do it a little better than in Season 1,” but their Korean has improved so much since then that there were hardly any scenes where I didn’t understand what they were saying.
It made me realize once again, “Wow… a lot of time has passed since I came to Korea” (laughs).
