Sugisaki Hana: Next up is Tokotoko, 52 years old, from Tokyo.

Listener email: Good morning, Ohana-chan.

These days, when I wake up in the morning, I’m always surrounded by gentle voices.

By the way, Hana-chan, are you good at winter? How do you keep yourself in shape?

I’ve never been good at winter, but I’d like to somehow get through it in good health.

I know you’re busy, but please take care of your health and do your best.

Sugisaki Hana: Thank you.

I wonder. Are you good at winter…? I guess I’m not good at it.

I really hated going to and from school in the winter.

But as I said last week, it’s not so cold when you wear a scarf, is it?

I really think scarves are amazing.
That’s why I wear a scarf in the winter.

And then, baths. Well, I take baths even when it’s not winter, but I make sure to soak in hot water before going to sleep.
And then, waking up cold in the morning is really depressing, isn’t it?
So I set the heating timer to work backwards from the time I want to wake up.
So I tell myself, “It’s not normal to wake up warm,” and wake up thinking, “It’s great to be warm, isn’t it?” (laughs)
Yeah. I guess that’s about it.
