On the January 11, 2021 (Mon) broadcast of the RADIO BERRY FM Tochigi radio program “IZ*ONE Honda Hitomi’s World Get You” (broadcast every Monday from around 16:25 for 10 minutes / B・E・A・T).
Honda Hitomi: Today is Coming of Age Day in Japan.
Congratulations to all the new adults.
Due to the effects of COVID-19, coming-of-age ceremonies have been canceled or postponed, and things aren’t going as they used to, but how are you all spending today?
I’ll be having my coming-of-age ceremony next year, and in Korea I turned 21 on January 1st, so I’m an adult, but there were times when I felt like I’d grown up a little, and the other day it snowed in Korea.
When I was little, I’d be like, “Wow, I’m so happy! Yay, it’s snowing! It’s snowing!” But now when I see snow, I’m like, “Oh, it’s so cold, please stop…” (laughs)
So I guess my reaction when I see snow is that I’ve grown up a bit (laughs)
