Honda Hitomi: Next is from Jurujuri, who lives in Tokyo.

Listener email: Please tell us if you have any stories from recording or choreography.

Honda Hitomi: This time my part was a very high note part.

I hadn’t had many opportunities to do high notes before, so I was very nervous, and I practiced at home many times, but I couldn’t sing at all then either.
I thought, “Oh, I’m going to cause trouble for the composer at the recording,” so I went in with a lot of lack of confidence.

But the composer gave me a lot of good advice, and thanks to that, I was able to sing after singing it many times. Yes.
So with this album, I think I’ve grown a little, or maybe I’ve broken through a wall (laughs).

Did you have any stories about learning the choreography?

Ah, that’s right. During the very first lesson, I had a really hard time remembering it.
There were a lot of really complicated choreography, so we kept the music playing in the practice room and danced together until we could remember them.
