RADIO BERRY FM Tochigi On the broadcast of the radio program “IZ*ONE Honda Hitomi’s World Get You” (every Thursday from 21:30 to 21:45) on 9/3/2020 (Thu).
IZ*ONE’s Honda Hitomi introduced all the “my rules” sent in by listeners to the program.
Honda Hitomi: Now, let’s introduce everyone’s my rules.
Wow. There are so many…
This is from “Ichi” who lives in Taiwan.
Listener email: For fried eggs, I cook the eggs until they are a little burnt, eat the white as is, and mix the yolk with rice.
Honda Hitomi: Wow. I don’t do this much these days, but when my mom made fried eggs for me in Japan, I ate the white first… I saved the yolk and put it on top of rice at the end, and ate it with a little Worcestershire sauce.
“Until the eggs are a little burnt.” Me too, well… I like it half-cooked, so I leave the yolk half-cooked and cook the white until it’s a little burnt.
I guess I’m a bit like “Ichi”-san, but me too.
…Next up is “Unapan”-san, who lives in Hokkaido.
Listener mail: I do the same thing every day from 6pm.
I eat dinner at 6pm and take a bath at 7:30pm. At 9pm I massage my legs to make them thinner, and at 11pm I do 15 minutes of muscle training, the effect of which I’m not sure.
And at 12:30pm, my day is over.
I’ve been doing it every day for a few years, so now I feel bad if I don’t do it.
Honda Hitomi: Wow, that’s amazing.
Doing the same thing at the same time every day… and it’s also really healthy, isn’t it? I’d like to imitate you, but well, it’s not that easy… You know. I’d like to imitate “Unapan”-san’s healthy lifestyle rhythm so that I can have it too.
…Next is Ryukei, who lives in Fukuoka Prefecture.
Listener mail: I always zip my bag in a way that I can see.
Honda Hitomi: Really? That’s amazing. I don’t think I do that…
I’ve never paid much attention to zippers…well, not “in a way that I can see” or anything, but I always zip them like this…on either side. Huh? Is that normal?
…Ah, when there are two zippers, I don’t zip them in the middle or anything, but zip them both “on either side.” When there are two. Yeah.
…Now. Next is Miran, who lives in Aichi Prefecture.
Listener mail: When eating Zaru Soba, I put a “raw quail’s egg” in the soba soup.
I also eat the “raw quail’s egg” with the last bite, without crushing it.
It’s supposed to be done to add sweetness and make it milder, but apparently it’s done in some places and not in others depending on the region.
Honda Hitomi: I see. Oh, a raw quail egg….
When I eat Zaru Soba, I normally mix wasabi into the soup before eating it….
I’ve never added a raw quail egg… but I’d like to try it next time. I love eggs.
I’d definitely like to take this into consideration.
There are many other ideas here, and I’d like to introduce more of them, but…
Due to time constraints, I’ll end it here for now.
Please continue to tell us your “my rules”!
