Miyawaki Sakura: Personally, I think the thing I was most particular about was the chorus.
The reason is that IZ*ONE’s songs tend not to sing the chorus very much. But with “FIESTA,” we sang the chorus so much for the first time. When I say “singing the chorus,” I mean, for example, “La Vie en Rose” has the chorus “La la la la vie en rose (Ooh) This is my, my ～.” But “FIESTA” has a lot of “lyrics,” doesn’t it?
So that was the most difficult part… The chorus is the “representative” or “face” of the song, isn’t it? The thing the song wants to convey the most is in the chorus, isn’t it?
…But, you know. In Korean it’s “태양을 꾹 삼킨 채” or “Swallow the sun,” but to say it literally… it’s a little difficult because it’s not an expression that we say in Japanese… How should I put it? It’s hard to explain.

Even if I explain it… each person has their own way of interpreting it, and there are many different ways of interpreting it. Isn’t it interesting that “lyrics” are interesting because there are a set number of characters and many different ways of interpreting them?
So if I explained it, it wouldn’t be “interesting,” right? Because I’d give you the right answer.
There is no right answer, when it comes to interpretation. So I would be happy if you would interpret the lyrics of “FIESTA Japanese Ver.” in your own way.
