On the 2020/10/18 (Sun) broadcast of the TOKYO FM radio program “Sugisaki Hana’s Flower TOKYO” (every Sunday from 8:00 to 8:30).
Sugisaki Hana: This morning I would like to introduce you to an email like this. 54 years old, Saitama Prefecture, radio name Momo-san.
Listener email: Good morning, Ohana-chan.
I bought the November issue of the magazine “Soen”.
“Ninagawa Mika and the Girls of the Future” was really wonderful.
It’s beautiful, cute, elegant, dignified, and adorable, and it’s wonderful to see so many of Ohana-chan’s great points packed into it. The costumes are also wonderful.
Please tell us any behind-the-scenes stories from the shoot with Ninagawa-san.
I look forward to seeing you in various media in the future.
Sugisaki Hana: Thank you.
I’m happy, that’s right.
I had you read Ninagawa-san’s new serialization.
It must have been quite some time ago, like three months ago, but it was wonderful.
Ninagawa brought out a drawer full of fabrics he’d collected from various countries that he’d saved for some shoot some time ago, and we all chose fabrics depending on the shot we were going to take, which was very impressive.
It was a really fantastical world view, and the makeup and costumes were really old-fashioned, with detailed embroidery and lace, which I don’t usually wear, and I had curly hair, so it was really refreshing to be able to wear things I don’t usually wear.
Yes.
Thank you for watching.
If you’ve bought “Soen,” I’d love it if you’d also take a look at the serialized “Mitsu no Oto” (Sound of Honey).
