Listener email: I’d like to know what the most memorable moment has been in your entertainment career so far.

Miyawaki Sakura: Eh, that’s difficult. There are too many.
Before I became an idol, I was a child actor, so I think I started performing on stage when I was in fifth grade. So how old was I? Fifth grade would mean 12 years, but since I started my entertainment career.
I wonder what the most memorable moment is…
There are too many to mention, but eh, I wonder what it is.

But there are a lot of really big things, one by one. Recently I was doing an online talk session, and when I saw people studying a language that isn’t their native language and writing notes while desperately trying to tell me how much they love me and how much they support me, I felt that they really are loved, and I realized that I am an idol, and my heart warmed and I felt so grateful, at that moment.

After becoming an idol, of course there are many happy things and sad things as well, such as success as a celebrity, but more than that, I wanted to cherish each and every one of these small happiness and heartwarming moments, and that was me at that moment.
So, well, it made me really happy to think that people who speak different languages and live in different places still support me so much, and I think that all those little happinesses pile up and make me want to be an idol again.

So really, I couldn’t have continued being an idol this long without all my fans.
I’ve been able to continue this far thanks to all my fans, so I’m really grateful.
