Honda Hitomi: Finally, a quick Korean lesson from Hii-chan.

Well, we talked a lot about tears today, so I would like to teach you how to say tears in Korean.

“Tears” is “눈물 (nungmul)” in Korean.

When written, “눈 (nung)” means “eyes”.

And “물 (mul)” means “water”.

So, how do you say it directly? If you translate it literally, it would be “water in the eyes”.
It’s strange, isn’t it (laughs)

Well, tears and water in the eyes are certainly correct (laughs)
