Honda Hitomi: Today, I would like to talk about the album Twelve, which is just before its release.
This album Twelve includes Japanese versions of the singles we released after our debut in Japan and the lead songs from the albums we released in Korea, so you can look back on the history of IZ*ONE with just this one album.

Honda Hitomi’s thoughts on writing the lyrics for La Vie en Rose

The three of us Japanese were each in charge of the Japanese version.
I think the most difficult part of writing the lyrics for La Vie en Rose was the rap.
I had to rhyme, and on top of that, I had to write cool lyrics, so I think that was the most difficult part.

So, when we were recording, I checked the pronunciation of each of the Korean members, and they all had really good pronunciation.

Korean people don’t have the pronunciation of “tsu”, so it’s something that everyone struggles with, but the members of IZ*ONE are really good, and I thought, “Wow, I have to work harder on my Korean pronunciation, too.”

About the music video and jacket photoshoot

Next, I’d like to talk about the music video and jacket photoshoot. We shot them on the same day.

And, for the first time in our music video shoot, we were able to finish without any delays, and in fact we were able to finish on time.
We were able to finish shooting earlier than planned, and that was a moment when I was really happy (laughs)

Another memorable thing is that the air conditioner broke and it was hot (laughs)
