I heard you have a photo folder called “Dad”. I think you two are really close.
I have two daughters about the same age as Hii-chan, but they don’t even talk to me, let alone have a folder. I don’t think they dislike me.
What do you like about your dad, Hii-chan?
I’d be happy if you could give me some advice, like something you respect.
Honda Hitomi: Hmm. I see.
Well, for me, it’s my dad, well (laughs), whenever he eats something sweet or dessert, he always sends me a photo of us together.
So I have a folder in my phone called “Dad” in the photo folder (laughs), and I told him in a private email.
I think that at my age, there are a lot of kids who are still in their rebellious phase.
Now that I’m away from my family, I understand that when you’re away, you understand the importance of family, and how horrible things I said to my parents.
Hmm… I guess it can’t be helped because I’m still in my teens.
Well, what I like about my dad is that he loves sweet things, which is cute (laughs), and when I talk to him about something, he sympathizes and gives me clear advice. Yes.
I’m not good at saying nice things when he’s troubled, but my dad understands both sides and gives me advice, so I think that’s amazing.
Also, he’s a neat freak.
There are so few things at home that I don’t even have anything belonging to my dad (laughs).
I think the only place I have anything is my room on the second floor.
When I was in Japan, I would leave my bag or a pot in the living room or something (laughs).
My dad really didn’t have anything like that.
He always puts designated things in designated places, and I really respect that (laughs).
