Listener email: I just watched the movie “EYES ON ME: THE MOIVE” for the second time.
Just like the first time, my eyes got watery at the end. I’ve been watching it since the audition, so it’s an indescribable feeling.
Speaking of auditions, Takahashi Juri, who auditioned with her, appeared on “King of Masked Singer”. I was surprised to see a Japanese girl, Juri, on such a famous show, and how well she sang. Did you watch it? I’m really impressed that she went to Korea by herself and worked so hard.
Saku-chan, Nako-chan, and Hii-chan also kept up with their tight schedules and communicated in Korean, so I think they were really working hard, but I also think they must have had some hard times along the way.
Personally, I’d like to see the Japanese members of IZ*ONE appear on “Foreigners in Korea.”
Although it’s difficult to do activities as we would like, I’m looking forward to the videos that will be uploaded, the online concert, and the release of the first Japanese album. Please take care of yourself.
Miyawaki Sakura: Oh man. I’ve already seen it, of course!
…Actually, on the day of the recording, (Akari-chan) contacted me. She contacted me and said, “You appeared on King of Mask Singer,” and we were like, “That’s amazing!”
I contact Akari-chan quite often. Akari-chan recently started an official YouTube channel for “Rocket Punch.” She said that she started it as a “Vlog in Japanese” to show people in Japan the image and private life of Korean idols, and to get more people interested in Rocket Punch.”
I had been consulting her quite a bit before she started, and since I’ve also started YouTube, I’ve been teaching her things like “How do you shoot?” and “How do you edit?”
Akari is a really hard worker, and I’m really inspired by the fact that she’s never satisfied with the status quo. She’s always trying to “work on something”… Akari. So we were really good friends when we were in Japan, and there was a lot I learned from her, but when I see her working hard now in the same situation, I always think “Akari is amazing” and “I’ll try my best too.”
We’ve been working hard together since we came to Korea, so I’m rooting for Akari from the bottom of my heart, and I want to keep working hard together so that I don’t lose to Akari.

His singing is really good, and he’s gotten even better. He was always good, but he’s gotten even better, so you can tell he must have worked really hard.
Also, the preparation period for “King of Mask Singer” overlapped exactly with the preparation period for Rocket Punch’s comeback, so I think it must have been really tough. He had to prepare for his comeback, but he also had to prepare for “King of Mask Singer.”
Seeing him working so hard despite such a tight schedule gave me energy.
